Storm Damage Remediation in Long Beach

A water leak turned into mold damage at an HOA home in Long Beach. A SERVPRO of Tustin crew was dispatched when the customer called about water coming into the home from the outside. Because there was moisture on the walls, our crew took atmospheric readings to check for mold when they arrived on site. Sure enough, they found visible mold inside the drywall. We set containment for the affected area, and had to remove the drywall. In cases with black mold on drywall, the only effective way to remove the mold is to replace the drywall.
