Dehumidification
SERVPRO of
Tustin professionals create effective drying
conditions. Dehumidification can save Orange
County property owners, businesses, and insurance
companies money in restoration and replacement
costs - as well as the costs of downtime and
delayed production schedules.
Moisture that is
not removed through extraction must be removed by
evaporation and dehumidification to prevent
permanent damage. The state of the art
dehumidifiers utilized by Servpro of Tustin are
capable of reducing high humidity and moisture
levels to low levels quickly. The dehumidifiers
have the power and capability to remove water and
moisture from drywall, plaster, interior paint,
concrete floors, carpets, insulation, basements
and contents. Daily monitoring of the drying
conditions and equipment on the job allow us to
adjust the equipment as necessary to insure drying
time is reduced to a minimum.
Dehumidifiers
take in wet air and cool it causing the water
vapor to condense out. Then the dried air is
reheated and expelled back into the room. The warm
dry air from the dehumidifier now absorbs
additional moisture from the structure and
contents, and is cycled through the dehumidifier
and reintroduced into the room in a continuous
cycle. The water collected by the dehumidifier is
pumped out and removed from the jobsite. This
process continues until the drying goals are
reached and the structure is dry.
SERVPRO of
Tustin professionals apply their understanding of
how relative humidity, specific humidity,
temperature, vapor pressure, and air movement
influence drying conditions. This “know-how” is
important for handling the moisture damage
efficiently. The unsurpassed quality of our
equipment and our capable, highly trained
technicians combine to handle any water damage
situation. |
